Since 1 September 1985, Library Services Centre has existed as a not-for-profit, non-share capital corporation. Our owners, since then, have been public libraries of Ontario. Any public library in Canada can become one of our owners.


Governence is provided by a nine-person Board of Directors.  Board members are elected to up to two three-year terms at LSC’s Annual General Meeting, held in November. Board terms overlap so that there is continuity in board membership.
